Reflection of Critical Reading classroom

This class makes me got much knowledge although it was difficult in some unit. I enjoyed to learned with teacher although I don't quite show much idea in class but I am happy in this class. Learning of this class full of difficult word it makes this class quite bored but i got knowledge from this class and I hope to learned with teacher again.^_^ ^-^ ^o^

Critical Reading

Today I learned Reading News Articles about FACEBOOK. We started class with show the sentences about FACEBOOK on the blackboard. There are many sentences about face book and then we stared read the articles about Face book. I try to understand this passage. Teacher told point of work. I got 16.5 in 25 points. It just Ok but I want to got more but I can’t do because today was last of class. I am very happy in this class and I hope to learn with Dr.Usa Noytim again.^^

Today I learned about Reading Editorials. We started the class with reading newspaper about 44 hurt after light rail cars collide in San Francisco. It   was very difficult because some word was very difficult. I don’t quite understand but I need to understand and question part is very  difficult too.

Today, I can’t to intend in classroom because I am sick. My homework is already but I can’t send today. I will send my homework next week.

Today, I learned about reading movie reviews. I learned about positive and negative word in the movie review. It quite easy but some sentence is difficult and learned about movie genres too. And then, we were practice 2 sheet about movie review of the first grader. Teacher gave 2 sheets. It was different sheets because one sheet has more positive word; one sheet has more negative word. I though good because it makes me learned different form.

Today I learned about book review. The teacher though about how to review the book. We need to found the positive and negative because it makes me know that the reviewer like or dislike that book. We were practice exercise about book review. I understand this chapter and can do exercise and get 7 point of 10 points. I so enjoyed this class.

  Today, the class of Critical Reading quite so serious. First, today has a test. Everybody looks stressed and me too. Teacher stared class by PowerPoint about skills for Reading, The skill of author’s purpose, tone, point of view and intended audience. This chapter was quite difficult because it has much content and difficult vocabulary. It makes me try to understand. Last, we do the exercise about skills for reading before finished class on time.

          Today,I learned The word's Oldest First Grader continued.Teacher started class with brainstorming from students about "First Grader" and then we are discuss about this movie.The first grader is a movie about the old man name's Kimani Maruge.He start learned  about 84 years old in Kenya when Kenyan government began offering free primary education to everyone in 2003. Maruge wanted an education but many of the first grader's parents didn't want the old man in their children class.They are against Maruge but he fought to his education.He was helped by Jane who be lived he can attend in the school.With Jane's help,Maruge was able to stay in the school and get success from study.He became the Jane's helper for toughs children and then He went to New York for give a speech at the UN about  education in Kenya
          Today,teacher try to give speech for our.I can answer a question from the teacher ask suddenly.I can spoke by don't tough and wrote before.It makes me that I have abilities for speak English but I don't confident for communicate and speak.Teacher add confidence for me.I feel very happy and fun in this class today.

Today'I learn about Learning Experiences.It makes me know that one billion adults around the word can't read and write especially woman,and 90 percent of them live in poor countries.I shared my ideas with my partner about some reason to go to primary school.My reason was I want to get standard knowledge,new experiences,new friends and get new social.I learned about proved"You're never too old to learn"and watched the movie"First Grader"was true story of Kimani Maruge in Kenya.It makes me got some idea.I saw his intend to attend in the school and got education,although he was 84 years old.From this movie,teacher asked homework about "First Grader"for students to summarize this movie.Today,I feel so good in this class.

Today,my university has the 5th NPRU Nationality academic Conference Research. It about sustainably regional development toward ASEAN community.The teacher asked our to attend listen to conference but I don't attend with it because my uniform impolite.

Today,I learned unit 2 continued about The Age of Immigration. I learned how to found main idea and practice skills.Thirty two million immigrants came to the United States from all over Europe between 1820 and 1920.Immigrants had a number of different reason for wanting to leave  home such as economic hardship.The main reason why Europeans decided to move to the US were difficult economic conditions in their native country.The lives of many immigrants were very difficult.Immigrant families spoke English as their first language and they thought of themselves as American.This unit was very difficult because all statement with difficult vocabulary and I used a dictionary for find the vocabulary.

   Today, I learned Unit 2: living in a multicultural society. I learned about how to find main ideas in the statement and practice skill. I think this class little bored because all the statement and difficult vocabulary. My friends and I would like to sleep all the time.> <The quiz today about facts and opinions is quite easy. It makes me happy and I hope to get point more than quiz in the pass.

  Today,I learned about Facts and Opinions.First,we distinguish between facts and opinions and then we work in group.Study of today was interesting and fun.I am very happy in this class because this unit wasn't difficult.

Today,I learned about sushi,food of Japan.Sushi was popular in American after they care their health.I read all passage about sushi and discuss with my friend.After we discuss,I practice about sushi and discuss answers with my friend again.Studying of today was interesting and not quite difficult.

Today,I practice critical reading about Leona do da vinci's painting Mona Lisa. I analyze about emotion of Mona Lisa and background. Then,I analyzing with my friend. After analyze,I read about critical reading and non-critical reading. Study of today was difficult and quiz was difficult too.

First class,I met Ajarn Usa Noitim again in Critical Reading subject.Today I review about Reading strategies      

and explain course syllabus.Before I learned this class I hope to get A of critical reading but after I learned first class I am not sure for get A because I think this class quite difficult.
